Nick Saban Purchases 'The Legacy' Print
Nick Saban, head football coach at the University of Alabama, purchased one of "The Legacy" limited edition prints. The original oil on canvas painting, commissioned by the Robinson Family, and painted by renowned artist Steve Skipper, was donated to the Eddie G. Robinson Museum by businessman James E. Davison. "The Legacy" commemorates the 324 game win by Coach Robinson which broke the legendary coach Paul "Bear" Bryant's record of most football games won by a NCAA coach. This game was played at the Dallas Cotton Bowl against Prairie View on October 5, 1985. The painting details the chaotic scene on the field following the victory.
